Cinderella – a kind-hearted girl, mis-treated by her devious stepmother and envious stepsisters wishes to go to the Royal Ball. Her fairy godmother makes her wish come true but at midnight the enchantments end and Cinderella rushes from the ball, leaving her glass slipper as the only clue for the prince to find her.

Grateful to practice the craft in a room someone else pays rent for, Aaron is an actor-educator and part-time frog, forever in search of luxurious new trees to inhabit. Trained in Theatre at Humber, Aaron has voiceover credits for Hershey’s, Bell, and HBO’s Hop (2024), and was last seen in OSLT’s production of 7 Stories last season. Aaron is excited to be working with such a dedicated cast and crew on such a momentous occasion – after all, “The Prince is giving a ball!”

Becky Robinson

Grace (Stepsister)

Becky started her performing journey at OSLT about 20 years ago when she was cast as a Torreadorable in Gypsy. Since then, she’s been involved in a number of productions—some in Toronto and some local. After graduating from Randolph Academy, she did some work in Toronto before returning to Owen Sound, where she reignited my passion for performing with OSLT once again. Some recent credits you may recognize her in include Bea Bottom in Something Rotten!, various characters in Prelude to a Kiss and now she’s pleased to add Grace from Cinderella to that list.

Brenda Foster

Queen Constantina/Assistant to the Musical Director

Brenda is thrilled to have her acting debut on the Roxy Stage surrounded by such talented cast and crew. Brenda was a long-time Vocal Music, English and French teacher in Wiarton, Stratford and the United Arab Emirates. In Dubai, she was Vocal Music Director for Joseph, Footloose, and, la pièce de résistance, Les Miserables! Now, she is excited for the “pitter patter of little feet” from her soon-to-be 4 grandchildren! Brenda is grateful to Musical Director Brenda, Director Elaine and “King” Rick for all their support, patience and belief!

Bronwyn Stanton

Bronwyn Stanton is a grade twelve student at BPDS. She is extremely excited for her first production with the OSLT, after numerous productions at her high school and elementary school; most recently A Lighter Shade of Noir, Into the Woods, and Heist Quest. She would like to thank her family for their continuous support and their willingness to put up with her spontaneous ‘practicing.’ Bronwyn would also like to thank her fellow cast members and crew for helping her learn the ropes of a Roxy Theatre production.

Cameron Donsberger

Cameron Donsberger is a performer and visual artist who moved to beautiful Grey-Bruce in 2015. Some of his past credits include “The Beast” in OSLT’s Beauty and The Beast and “The Man” in OSLT’s production of 7 Stories. Cameron is a practicing Massage Therapist and owner/operator of Orion Massage Therapy in Annan/Owen Sound. He would like to extend his love and gratitude to his partner and family and to Elaine Anderson and Brenda Dimoff for all their support!

Clara Hoover Wark

Ensemble/Dancer

Clara Hoover is delighted to make her Owen Sound Little Theatre debut in Cinderella. A classically trained soprano with a focus on operatic studies, Clara brings a strong musical foundation to the stage. She has performed in numerous productions, with favourites including York Durham Academy of the Performing Arts’ Beauty and the Beast and Grease, Conrad Grebel University College’s Anne of Green Gables, OnStage Uxbridge Theatre’s Godspell, and The University of Waterloo’s production of Cabaret.

Clara is grateful to the OSLT for the opportunity to join this wonderful community and looks forward to future productions.

Colleen Martin

Colleen has performed on stages as grand as the NAC in Ottawa and as humble as a library corner in northern Ontario. Currently, her favourite place to be is right here on the Roxy stage, helping to tell stories to local audiences. Most recently, Colleen portrayed Aunt Dorothy in OSLT’s production of “Prelude to a Kiss.” Involved with OSLT for ten years, she continues to be grateful for the opportunities.

Dan Herrick

This is Dan Herrick’s third musical, following OSLT’s Sister Act and Something Rotten! He’s thrilled to be part of the Cinderella ensemble and even more excited to share the Roxy stage with his daughter, Maeryn. Dan’s grateful for the chance to work with such a talented, supportive group who make every rehearsal pure magic.

Emily is thrilled to be performing in Cinderella and hopes you enjoy the show. Thank you to an amazing cast, crew and choreographer! You may have noticed Emily recently in OSLT’s Please No Flowers One Acts and Something Rotten! This summer, she successfully completed her Intermediate Foundation exams with the Royal Academy of Dance. In her spare time, she volunteers at the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter and hikes with her rescue pups. Sending love and gratitude to her friend and family for their support!

Emma McConachie-Anderson

Emma can’t wait for audiences to see this magical production brought to life! She was last onstage in 2024’s production of Something Rotten! and backstage doing sound for last year’s production of The Prom. Thank you to the cast and crew for a fantastic experience! Enjoy the show! 

Grace McRae

Fairy Godmother

Grace holds a bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre Performance from Sheridan College and has enjoyed performing in both amateur and professional productions. She has been teaching the performing arts since 2016 and loves nothing more than sharing the joy of theatre. She has appeared in productions such as Seussical the Musical (The Sour Kangaroo), Legally Blonde (Enid Hoops), and Company (April). Grace is so excited to be a part of a OSLT production once again!

Hallie Acton

Hallie is excited to return to the stage in Cinderella. Previous OSLT credits include Les MisérablesWhite ChristmasThe Children’s HourSomething Rotten! and The Prom. Jamie is very excited to be cast in this fairytale and is looking forward to sharing the stage with all the other cast and crew members, including his amazing wife, Fiona, who have worked so hard to bring you this production. John Prettie

John is thrilled to be in this magical musical production! An active member of OSLT for over 25 years and has appeared in more than 20 shows, from Musicals to Dramas and Comedies. He has also produced many of their shows, and he is a past board member, volunteers in many ways behind the scenes such as ushering, painting scenery, and is a member of the Playbill Team, helping to select the shows they put on each season. John is responsible for much of the photography for our productions. Cinderella is a wonderful show for all ages, and he hopes you will enjoy the show! Thanks to Director Elaine Anderson and the entire team for their expertise putting together this production!

Julie Craven

Stepmother

Julie Craven is excited to broaden her character repertoire portraying Cinderella’s notorious Stepmother. Julie was celebrated for her breakout role as Mrs. Potts in OSLT’s Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in 2023, for which she was awarded the prestigious Western Ontario Drama League’s Most Promising Newcomer Award. With a deep love for the stage, she brings both heart and charisma to every role she inhabits.

When she’s not performing, Julie enjoys support exceptional young adults in the Roxy Star program and REACH, always finding inspiration in the world around her.

Julie would like to thank her Husband Kevin, and her kids Kyla, Owen and Maggie for their love, encouragement and support.

Justin Kraemer

Justin is overjoyed to return to the stage in Cinderella! Once a violinist, pianist, and clarinetist, he found his true voice through singing and hasn’t stopped since. From choir lofts to concert halls, Justin now finds joy bringing story and song to the stage — whether as Cheesemonger Robin Colby, a dancing mouse-turned-carriage man, or a guest at the Royal Ball. He’s grateful to share this enchanting experience with such a talented company and delighted to perform again in this magical production.

Kaeli Mulvaney-Courtois

Kaeli is new to the OSLT and has enjoyed working on Cinderella. She has missed being on the performance scene and is looking forward to more opportunities in the future. When she is not on stage, she is teaching, or marking, or prepping, or stressing about any of those things. She also loves spending time with her family, including her dog (Sochi) and new puppy (Phallan).

Kassidy Shaw

Joy (Stepsister)

Kassidy is very excited to be back on the Roxy stage and has had a blast taking on the role of Stepsister Joy. She is honoured to bring such a whimsical and fun show to life alongside this great cast and crew, while making sure to have a laugh or two along the way. Past OSLT productions include Something Rotten!, Prelude to a Kiss, The Children’s Hour, and an assortment of one-act plays. Thank you for supporting live theatre; enjoy the show!

Kathleen Cassidy

A longtime OSLT member, Kathleen has acted, directed and designed lighting for many shows over the last 40+ years. Most recently, she directed Something Rotten!, West Moon, Spamalot and The 39 Steps, was onstage in Calendar Girls and Sister Act and designed the lighting for Beauty and the Beast and Alice in Wonderland.  A huge thank you to the members of our audience who come to see our shows so we can do what we love to do! A passionate performer, she has previously appeared in RYC’s Alice in Wonderland, Willy Wonka Jr., Matilda, Jr., OSLT’s The Prom and more. When not on-stage Lily enjoys horseback riding and taxidermy. Lily would like to thank the entire cast and crew for all the memories, and her family and friends for their continued support.

Maeryn Herrick

This is Maeryn’s tenth Roxy production and her first OSLT show. She is excited to work with the amazing cast and crew of Cinderella. Some of her favourite past performances include Oompa Loompa in Willy Wonka Jr with the Roxy Young Company and Wilbur in Charlotte’s Web with the Bruce County Playhouse. Maeryn would like to thank Director, Elaine, for including her in this wonderful show as well as her parents for giving her the opportunity to do what she loves.

Ronn Cheney

From 1978-2002 Ronn was a member of BMS (Brampton Musical Society and was in many shows. Most notably: Pajama Game (Hines), Camelot (Mordred), Kiss Me Kate (Lucentio), Crazy for You (Lank) to name a few. He was also involved in shows in Georgetown: 42nd Street, Oklahoma (Dream Curly), Kiss Me Kate (Lucentio). He moved to Kemble in 2002 and got involved with OSLT and was in Joseph (Jacob), The Sound of Music (Butler), Brigadoon and White Christmas.

I would like to dedicate my involvement in Cinderella to two people: my husband Don – who has stood by me throughout the rehearsal period and show and to Julie Andrews who inspired me when she did Cinderella live back in 1957. The show Cinderella has always been in my head and on occasion pops out to render a song or two.

Thanks to the production staff for allowing me to fulfill my dream and to the cast for working with a new group of great like-minded people.

Sophie Lemoine

Sophie is beyond excited to return to the stage after a 20-year hiatus from theatre. In high school, she appeared in OSLT’s Guys and DollsAnnie Get Your GunThe Music Man, and Babes in Arms, and theatre has always remained a passion close to her heart. Outside the theatre, Sophie is a professional photographer with a 15-year career in TV and film production. She looks forward to many productions to come, both on stage and behind the scenes, and couldn’t have done this without her husband’s unwavering support.

Tara Stanton

Tara Stanton is happy to be returning to the OSLT stage after a 20-year absence! She has been busy directing productions of her own at Bruce Peninsula District School (Willy Wonka, Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [abridged], Into the Woods, The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood, A Lighter Shade of Noir, Heist Quest). Tara is excited to finally have the chance to perform with her daughter! Thanks to the production and creative teams for helping us present a great show!

Anne has been a member of OSLT since 2016 but and since moving to Owen Sound, she has volunteered as an usher, bartender, assistant stage manager (Red Plaid Shirt), wardrobe team member (Beauty and the Beast), producer (Something Rotten!) and props team member (7 Stories). In addition to the 26 cast members, Anne would like to extend a massive thank you to the legion of offstage folks that worked on this show to make the impossible happen. You won’t see these magicians, but you will enjoy the benefits of their labour! A special thank-you to Fiona McConachie-Anderson, for being the co-pilot.

Brenda Dimoff

As a classically trained musician with a performance degree in piano, Brenda has been involved with church music and music theatre productions most of her life. She has taught piano and organ lessons for 48 years privately, and piano and vocal in Bluewater public schools. Beginning in 2002 she worked with the Owen Sound Little Theatre. Some of the shows she has music directed are Nunsense, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Coat, Gypsy, Pyjama Game, The Music Man, Anne of Green Gables, Sound of Music, The King and I, My Fair Lady, Dads Two, Hello Dolly! Anything Goes and Celebrate. Brenda is thrilled to be back working with the OSLT on this production of Cinderella, after a hiatus of ten years. She wants to thank her three sons for encouraging her to return to the music theatre genre which she so loves. Congratulations to an amazing cast and production team, thanks to Brenda Foster my assistant and to Elaine for her support and vision to bring the magical Rodgers and Hammerstein music to life for another generation of children and families.

Carey Carrick

Carey developed her art talent at the University of Windsor, Canadore College and Georgian College.  She creates in a variety of mediums: oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastel, graphite, and she enjoys painting a variety of subjects. Carey has been teaching art for many years and enjoys sharing her knowledge, skill and experience with others, while encouraging the beginner and challenging the advanced students to reach their full potential. Carey has worked on many projects at the Roxy –OSLT’s The Sound of Music, Brigadoon, and Kiss the Sun, Kiss the Moon to name a few.

Catherine Tilley

Wardrobe Designer/Wardrobe Team Lead

Catherine, a long-time member of OSLT always enjoys working on a production. She has had a go at just about every job backstage and up in the booth. You last saw her on stage in OSLT’s 7 Stories, Please No Flowers and West Moon. This time, Catherine and her award-winning team have enjoyed creating our fairytale costumes. She would like to send out thanks to this talented cast for their cooperation, to Karen Giberson, Martha Tettenborn, Beth Tilley, Anne Thompson and Val Underwood her wonderful team without whom this would not be possible and of course her long-suffering family who have learned ” If I’m holding a seam ripper, now is not the time!”

Elaine is thrilled to be directing Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella for the Owen Sound Little Theatre. After a rewarding 32-year career as an instrumental music teacher with the TDSB, she moved to beautiful Owen Sound in 2021. Since then, she has enjoyed working behind the scenes at the Roxy, most recently as the producer of 7 Stories. Elaine is genuinely grateful to her “dream team” – Brenda, Paula, Katherine, Anne and Fiona for their hard work, support and constant encouragement.

Fiona McConachie-Anderson

Fiona is fascinated by all of the backstage teams who create set, scenic painting, lights, sound, props, hair, make-up, wardrobe and stage management.

Kasey has been working her magic with hair and wigs for several years. Katherine Ruck is delighted to be stage managing Cinderella—keeping track of glass slippers, pumpkins, and midnight cues is no small task! She has been involved in many productions with OSLT, both on and offstage, but especially loves helping the magic run smoothly from behind the scenes. Katherine thanks this fantastic cast and crew for making rehearsal schedules feel more like fairy godmother spells and less like chores. She hopes you enjoy the enchantment as much as they’ve enjoyed creating it!

Set Design & Build Team Lead

This Cinderella set is Martin’s 5th complete design. Starting with a very simple set for RYC years ago, the set for Red Plaid Shirt was next, You, Me and A Bit of Driftwood, then Addams Family and now Cinderella. 

At other times he has made many smaller contributions of special effects and features like the knife-throwing target for Pajama Game, the fathers “invention” for Beauty and the Beast, the animated rat “Toby” and the model train placement system for Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, Boo Radley’s house in To Kill a Mockingbird, the Foley setups for The Lost Tire Gang.

He enjoys crafting things for the stage that help set the many scenes and hopes that this set will have some good moments that move the play along with fun surprises and charming moments.

He gives great thanks to all the talents that have helped make different aspects of this design come together as a whole and cheers to all the builders, painters, actors and dancers who perform their magic on this stage.

After decades of work both on the stage and behind the scenes, Yvonne has spent the last decade focused on lighting (pardon the pun) for OSLT shows such as White Christmas, Spamalot, Something Rotten! & RYC’s Alice In Wonderland.
