RYC’s Shrek the Musical JR

Directed by: Ridgley Dier

Music by: Jeanine Tesori

Books and Lyrics by: David Lindsay-Abaire

Based on the DreamWorks Animation Motion Picture and the book by William Steig

It’s a “big bright beautiful world” as everyone’s favourite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance.  Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.
