
Fall down the rabbit hole with Alice as she navigates the curious world of Wonderland on a journey of self-discovery.
When young Alice finds herself in a strange world where everything seems upside down, she must find her way home…and find herself along the way. As she travels through Wonderland, she encounters all of the iconic characters that audiences have come to love: including the ever-tardy White Rabbit, the grinning Cheshire Cat, a cool Caterpillar, the wacky Mad Hatter, and the hot-tempered Queen of Hearts.

Haidyn Ashley – Crustacean/Ensemble
Haidyn Ashley is excited to be playing a crustacean in Alice in Wonderland Jr. with the Roxy Young Company. She has spent much of her free time attending after school acting classes and summer break programs with the Roxy Young Company. When not performing, Haidyn loves to read, swim, and draw. She thanks her family and friends for all of their support.

Charlie Borowski – Caterpillar
Charlie is always happy to be on the stage, having worked on several shows since 2019. When he got a callback for Alice in Wonderland Jr. he was simply ecstatic. His most notable performance was Kyle in the RYC’s production of Legally Blonde, Jr. When he isn’t on the theatre stage, he’s on another, playing with his two bands: S.W.S.O. and Eclipsus. He thanks his friends, family, and you, (yes, you), for the support.

Sadie Bosboom – Cat 3
Sadie is ecstatic to be performing as a Cheshire Cat in the Roxy Young Company’s production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. This is Sadie’s first time acting, but not her first time on stage. Sadie has performed with Girls Rock Camp Guelph for 4 years! Sadie loves playing her violin, listening to music, and drawing. She would like to thank her mum and her best friend Mardel for their undying support.

Tessa Brainard – Daisy Flower/Ensemble
Tessa Brainard is thrilled to be playing Daisy in Alice in Wonderland Jr. This is Tessa’s first production, but she feels at home on the stage, having taken part in dance performances with Dixon’s Dance Studio. Tessa loves to entertain, and enjoys performing, singing and dancing. Tessa would like to thank the cast and crew for making this such a fun and positive experience.

Lily Brennan – March Hare
Lily loves all things theatre. She has been a part of many amazing productions through the Roxy Young Company including Matilda, Willy Wonka, Suessical, and Winnie the Pooh. Lily was also thrilled to be a part of the incredible PROM cast with Owen Sound Little Theatre. Lily would like to thank Carrie, Don, Lacey and Sandy for all their hard work and support, as well as her family for their love and encouragement; giving the most thanks to her taxidermied groundhog, Willie.

Vivian Cavan – Lily Flower/Ensemble
Vivian Cavan is thrilled to make her stage debut as a Flower in Alice in Wonderland Jr. at the Roxy Theatre! Her love for theatre began through the RYC’s Act 1 JR Program, where she discovered the magic of performing. When she’s not on stage, Vivian enjoys playing games, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. She is grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank the directors, her castmates, and loved ones for their support. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Marty Chesser – Tweedle Dum
Marty is excited to be playing Tweedle Dum in Alice in Wonderland Jr. He played Cristopher Robin in Winnie the Pooh and an announcer/lobster in Rainbow Fish. Outside of theatre he enjoys playing hockey and baseball on the Rep Team which is all year round.

Maeve Corriveau – Rose Flower/Ensemble
Maeve is excited to make her acting debut as Rose, Head Flower, in the RYC’s production of Alice in Wonderland Jr! She joined Act 1 Classes last fall and quickly discovered her love for the stage. In her spare time, Maeve loves painting watercolour, reading fantasy novels, and writing stories. She thanks her Mom for getting her to a last minute audition!

Nayomi Courtney – Crustacean/Ensemble
Nayomi is thrilled to be part of Alice in Wonderland Jr. as a crustacean. Nayomi is a grade 7 student in Hillcrest Elementary School and in her free time she plays softball for the Tara Twins U13 team. One day, she hopes to play Donna in Mamma Mia. She thanks her loved ones for all their support.

Gwyn Cox – Mad Hatter
Gwyn is excited to be in Alice in Wonderland JR. He has been acting for six years, one notable role being Tiny Tim in the Roxy’s production of A Christmas Carol in 2019. His most recent role is Gomez Addams in the Roxy Young Company’s, The Addams Family. As well as acting, Gwyn enjoys listening to, writing and performing music, and has played gigs solo with a band. He thanks the Roxy and everyone involved in the Young Company for making a great environment for younger people with a love of acting.

Ethan Cremasco – Tweedle Dee
Ethan is stoked to be playing Tweedle Dee in the Roxy Young Company’s production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. Some of Ethan’s favourite past roles include, Pugsly in The Addams Family, and Kate & Dewey in Legally Blonde Jr. Outside of theatre, he enjoys crocheting and anything art related. He hopes everyone has an awesome time and enjoys the show!

Drew Dubois – Alice
Drew is a 7th-grade student at Hillcrest Elementary School, and is excited to be performing in her second production with the Roxy Young Company. Last season, she was part of the ensemble cast as an ancestor in The Addams Family. Drew is grateful for the incredible cast and crew who have encouraged her to be her best! She sends out a huge thank you to her friends and family for their support throughout her journey! You’re all awesome!

Jasmine Elliot – Friend/Flower/Ensemble
Jasmine is very excited to be performing in Alice in Wonderland Jr. as a friend and a flower! Jasmine has been doing musical theatre since she was seven and in her first show, she landed the lead role in Sleeping Beauty. She has been given the opportunity to sing Oh Canada at several Owen Sound Attack games. When she’s not performing, she enjoys playing basketball and skiing. She would like to thank her parents for all their support, and Carrie for being such a wonderful director.

Ashley Gibbs – Cat 2
Ashley is thrilled about playing the Cheshire cat in Alice in Wonderland Jr. with the Roxy Young Company! When not on stage, Ashley is off binge watching 90’s horror movies and thrifting. Ashley enjoys doing fake SFX makeup and scaring her friends with it. She also spends tons of time painting and drawing. “Thank you to all my friends and family for the support, ily so much!!”

Lily Gray – Three of Diamonds/Ensemble
Lily is a twelve year old girl who is grateful to be a part of the show, Alice in Wonderland Jr. She goes to East Ridge Community School and is also a part of their school play Suessical. She loves doing theatre and is proud of herself and all other members of the cast. Lily started acting in 2021 with the RYC summer camp One Love. This is by far, her favorite performance she’s ever done. She loves the Roxy so much and she hopes to continue to do more!

Quinn Grivel – Violet Flower/Ensemble
Quinn is very excited to play her roles of Violet and Ensemble for the Roxy Young Company’s production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. Quinn takes vocal lessons and has been involved in the Roxy Young Company Junior Camps since 2022. She has also performed in productions of Winnie the Pooh and Rainbow Fish. When not on stage, Quinn attends grade four, spending time with her hamster, and doing anything creative. She thanks her family for their endless support.

Maeryn Herrick – Four of Hearts/Ensemble
Maeryn is delighted to be back on stage for the Roxy Young Company’s latest production, Alice in Wonderland Jr. Maeryn loves theatre arts and entertaining audiences. This past year, she was in five different productions including performances at Timothy Christian School (I-Witness News-Live from Bethlehem), The Bruce County Playhouse (The Wizard of Oz) and the Roxy Theatre (A Night of One Act Plays, and the Addams Family Young at Part)! She thanks her friends and family for their support and can’t wait to see what’s next.

Layla Kearney – Crustacean/Ensemble
Layla is excited to play one of the three crustaceans in Alice in Wonderland Jr. with the Roxy Young Company! This is her first performance with the RYC, but she has past experience performing with the Roxy Young Company camps, as well as singing for school and vocal recitals. When not on stage, Layla enjoys drawing, anime, and playing board games. She thanks her family for all of their support in her acting journey!

Nelson MacLeod – DoDo Bird
Nelson is a thirteen year old boy who is very excited to make his Roxy Young Company Show debut as the Dodo bird in Alice in Wonderland Jr! He has been involved with RYC for the past three years, and acted in a film entered into the 2024 Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival – which won People’s Choice Award. He enjoys singing in the Georgian Bay Children’s Choir and in the shower! He thanks his mom and the Queen of Hearts’ Mom for getting him to rehearsals!

Reese Mahy – Queen of Hearts
Reese is super excited to be in her first production on stage with the Roxy Young Company. She had her first experience with Owen Sound Little Theatre assisting backstage with the hairstylist for Prelude to a Kiss. When not singing her heart out on stage she’s normally drawing, binge watching shows or making random things she sees off of Pinterest! She’s also very thankful for her family for all coming to see her first show!

Addy McEachern – Two of Clubs/Ensemble
Adelaide (Addy) is thrilled to be making her Roxy theatre debut as the Two of Clubs in the Roxy Young Company’s production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. Addy’s love for theatre started watching her mom on stage, but she was officially bitten by the theatre bug after attending a week-long theatre camp this past summer. In her spare time Addy enjoys listening to music and shopping for vintage records and all things Fall Out Boy. She thanks her mom for getting her started in theatre and her big family for always loving and supporting her.

Hazel Moran – White Rabbit
Hazel Moran is over the moon to be playing the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland Jr. with the Roxy Young Company. Some favourite past roles are Humuhumunukunukuapuaa from The Rainbow Fish and Horton the elephant in Seussical Jr. Hazel is thirteen years old and a student at East Ridge Community School. When she’s not performing, she’s listening to music or hanging out with friends. A huge thanks to Ellie and Violet for the loving support and introduction to theatre!

Nina Pieterman – Cat 1
Nina loves theatrical performances whether she is in the audience or on the stage. She is ecstatic to be returning to the Roxy. Her previous performances include The Addams Family, Winnie the Pooh and Rainbow Fish.

Wesley Robinson – The King
Wesley Robinson is excited to be playing the King of Hearts in the Roxy Young Company’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. His previous roles include Lucas in The Addams Family, and Mike Teevee in Willy Wonka. In his free time he enjoys talking with friends and playing games. He would like to thank his parents for inspiring him, Olivia for driving him, and his sisters for always being there for him.

Ellie Stephen – Doorknob/Ensemble
Ellie, who plays the doorknob, is very excited to be back at the Roxy Theatre. She has performed in Willy Wonka, Rainbow Fish and Addams Family with The Roxy Young Company. When Ellie is not on stage, she is either playing hockey with the Ice Hawks or hanging out with her family and friends. She wants to give a big thank you to Carrie and Lacey for giving her this opportunity and to her family for encouraging her love of theatre. Enjoy the show!

Ainsley Vail – Friend/Flower/Ensemble
Ainsley is a Grade nine student at OSDSS and can not wait to share this production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. with you! She has performed in two previous Roxy Young Company shows and has enjoyed partaking in various other productions. In her free time, Ainsley plays piano and sings. She plans to pursue her passion for music and theatre in the many years ahead!

Alice Vila – Petunia Flower/Ensemble
Alice is excited to participate in her very first musical production on the Roxy stage. She participated in the Roxy Young Company summer camps and loved every minute. She loves to sing, dance and act. She is happy to put her passions to use in such an amazing production.

Olivia Williamson – Mathilda/Flower/Ensemble
Olivia is excited to be performing in another Roxy Young Company Production, marking her final year before heading off to college. Her favorite past role was Wednesday in The Addams Family Musical Jr. When she’s not performing, Olivia loves singing and reading. She’d like to thank her family and friends for all their support.

Kaiya Witherspoon – Ace of Spades/Ensemble
This is Kaiya’s third year with the Roxy Young Company and this season she plays the Ace Of Spades. During her free time she enjoys listening to music, spending time with her friends and playing on the school basketball team. She would like to thank her friends and family for their continued support and encouragement.

Addison Flemming – Assistant Stage Manager
Addison is very thrilled to help out with this production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. Addison has always liked to be backstage and to help out with everything she can. Addison has attended the Roxy Young Company Act 1 and Act 2 classes since grade four. She really enjoys acting with friends.

Sophia Hepburn – Assistant Stage Manager
Sophia is an enthusiastic grade twelve student that has been involved with the Roxy for almost ten years. She has participated in both the on stage and off stage sides of theatre, and was the lead singer of the band The Industry Plants. Sophia has dreams of becoming a journalist and writer. She thanks the Roxy Young Company for giving her this opportunity and hopes you enjoy the show.

Miles Robart – Sound
Miles is excited to be returning to the sound booth and the Roxy Young Company. Previously, Miles has done sound for Matilda, Willy Wonka and The Addams Family.

Carrie Cathrae-Keeling – Director
Carrie Cathrae-Keeling has been involved with many aspects of the theatre over the years, acting, wardrobe, ASM, but has never had the opportunity (or nerve) to try directing. She knew her directorial debut needed to be something Fantastical and as off the wall as she is, and so Alice in Wonderland was born. She wants to thank her cast and crew from the bottom of her heart for making her first experience feel effortless and full of fun!
Don Buchanan – Musical Director
Don was delighted to join the Roxy Youth Company to help with the musical direction.

Lacey Mooney – Producer
Lacey has been a dedicated member of the Owen Sound Little Theatre for many years, contributing to all aspects of production. She directed Beauty and the Beast in the fall of 2022 and has appeared on stage most recently as Sandra in The Play That Goes Wrong and Nostradamus in Something Rotten!. Passionate about theatre, she loves sharing her enthusiasm with The Roxy Young Company and The Roxy Star Company. She is truly honored to be working with this incredible cast and crew!
Sandy Lemaitre – Stage Manager
Over the past 20 years, Sandy has been involved in many OSLT productions. Recently her roles included Margo in Ladies Foursome, Sister Mary Laz in Sister Act and Judy in a production of White Christmas. Behind the scenes, some of her recent favourites include Beauty & The Beast, and Matilda (Stage Manager) and Gorgeous Gallivanting Goddesses (ASM). Sandra is thrilled to be working with another amazingly talented and hard working cast and crew. Enjoy the show.
Valerie Prettie – Assistant Stage Manager
Val has been an active member serving OSLT for more than 25 years. Throughout that time, she has worn many hats around the theatre, from Hair Design, Stage Management, Set Painting and Décor, as well as Bartending and Ushering. A special shout out to the Roxy Young Company for their enthusiasm and work ethic. Also a big Thank You to Carrie, Sandy, Lacey and all the team for their dedication and hard work to make this show a big success! Enjoy!
Rhonda Emmerson – Wardrobe
This is the third time Rhonda has worked on staging an Alice production, having costumed for the community/youth group at Meaford Hall from 2010-2019. She had the costumes stored at Woodford Hall, their new venue for making theatre happen in the municipality of Meaford. When Carrie asked if she was interested in a musical production of Alice, she was delighted to help. It has provided just what she has been missing and has been challenging with some different characters in this cast that added to the search for just the right pieces. “I have enjoyed being a part of this talented and enthusiastic group. You have energized me to continue doing what makes me happiest.”
Leah Faulkner – Properties
Leah is so excited to be working on a Roxy production once again. She recently returned to the Grey-Bruce area after 14 years away and has been welcomed back to the Roxy with open arms. She most recently did props for Owen Sound Little Theatre’s production of Prelude to A Kiss. She can’t wait to get more involved in future productions!
Kathleen Cassidy – Lighting Designer/Operator
A long-time OSLT member, Kathleen has acted, directed and designed lighting for many shows over the past 40+ years. Most recently, she directed Something Rotten!, West Moon and Spamalot, was onstage for Calendar Girls and Sister Act and designed the lighting for Beauty and the Beast. Kathleen is so excited to work with our young thespians as they enter the world of theatre. Their energy and talent is our future! A big thank you to Lacey Mooney for steering all our young people of the RYC and the Act 1 and Act 2 theatre courses.
Yvonne Korince – Lighting Programmer/Operator
After decades of work both on the stage and behind the scenes, Yvonne has spent the last decade focused on lighting (pardon the pun) for shows such as White Christmas, Spamalot & Something Rotten!. Yvonne gives her heartfelt thanks to Kathleen Cassidy for her creative design process and her ongoing mentorship. It is a real treat to be a part of the RYC Alice team!
Matt Martin – Sound Engineer
Matt has worked on many OSLT musicals as the master of the microphones. Many people believe that being in charge of 25 microphones is hard work but Matt believes that the actual hard work is being done by the talented actors on the stage.
Nicole Gardiner – Makeup
Nicole graduated from Completions College of Makeup in 2012, and a big part of her career has been focused on the bridal industry. Recently she’s had the opportunity to work on two Roxy Young Company plays, as well as lead makeup for Owen Sound Little Theatre’s, The Play That Goes Wrong.
Lindsay Mahy – Hair
With 20+ years of hairstyling experience, specializing in special occasion hairstyles, Lindsay is excited for her first time working with the Roxy Young Company. She was most recently the hairstylist for OSLTs production of Prelude to a Kiss. She is looking forward to watching her “ Royal Majesty ” of a daughter, take the stage in this production as well.
