The Addams Family!

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family whom her parents have never met. She confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Tylie Camilleri – Ancestor
Tylie is a 2023 graduate of WDCS who is doing her 5th year at the school. Theatre credits include Little Women and 1, 2, 3, and Flush! at the Chesley Bijou Theatre. She was also the Assistant Stage Manager for HCP’s production of Matilda. Outside of theatre, Tylie enjoys playing different instruments and taking vocal lessons. She would like to thank her family for always supporting her.

Gwyn Cox – Gomez Addams
Gwyn is a grade 10 student from OSDSS. He has been involved with the Roxy Theatre Summer Camp programs from 2017 until 2023, and was involved in Sandcastle Theatre before that. He performed in the 2018 production of a Christmas Carol and Willy Wonka in 2023. He enjoys music, is involved with his school concert and jazz bands, and has performed solo on the keyboard. He is looking forward to playing Gomez Addams, and hopes you enjoy the show!

Ethan Cremasco – Pugsly Addams
Ethan is excited to be performing as Pugsley in The Addams Family. Ethan is in grade 9 and attends Ecole Saint-Dominique-Savio. He enjoys reading and his cats. Some of his past RYC roles include Rainbow Fish as Rainbow fish, and Willy Wonka Jr as an Oompa Loompa. Ethan wants to say thank you to his mom, Lacey, and Grace for all of their support.

Drew Dubois – Ancestor
Drew is a grade 6 student at Hillcrest Elementary. This is Drew’s first production with the Roxy Young Company.  She has performed in Lookup Theatre’s circus camp, and enjoys playing hockey as an Ice Hawk. Special thanks to Casey and Kali for rides to rehearsal, to her parents for their support and encouragement, and to her brother Gabe for the kitchen concerts.

Ellie Farla – Ancestor
Ellie is in the eighth grade at Saint-Dominique-Savio and a dedicated violin player. She has done contemporary dance, choir, the improv club at her school, and several sports teams. Ellie has performed in the Winnie the Pooh camp, and Rainbow Fish Act 1 program, both with the Roxy Young Company. She would like to thank her family, teachers, and friends for their support and love.

Lily Gray – Ancestor
Lily is an 11 year old girl who goes to East Ridge Community School. She loves doing theatre and is so proud of herself and the other cast members for being in this show. Lily first started acting in 2021, with the summer camp, One Love with RYC. She loves the Roxy so much and is hopeful to do more productions in the future!

Maeryn Herrick – Ancestor
Maeryn has had a busy year in theatre! She is excited to join the ensemble in The Addams Family with The Roxy Young Company, which is her 8th production with the youth program. Earlier this year, Maeryn starred as Wilbur in the Bruce County Playhouse family production of Charlotte’s Web. She would like to thank her parents for their wonderful support and encouragement.

Allie Mackay – Ancestor
Allie is delighted to be playing in the Addams Family. Recent/favorite credits include, Willy Wonka Jr, vocal support for One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and as Rabbit in Winnie the Pooh Jr. Allie is a grade 6 French immersion student at East Ridge Community School. In Allies free time she loves going to the barn to ride horses and she also loves to play with her cat Sparkes and her dog Penny. Allie’s dream is to place top 3 at an Anglestone horse show. She also has always wanted to be on TV!

Nina Pieterman – Grandma
Nina is ecstatic to be performing in her first feature play.  She has studied with the Roxy Young Company for 2 years and is in Grade 7.  Nina enjoys writing and finds inspiration from her two pet rats.

Braelynn Robinson – Ancestor
Braelynn is ecstatic to be part of Addams Family the musical! This is Braelynn’s third play with the RYC. Braelynn would like to say a special thank you to Dad, Kate, Mom, Gram, and Bop for always being there for her throughout her singing journey. She would also like to say a huge thank you to the cast and crew for making this all possible!

Macy Robinson – Alice Beineke
Macy Robinson is a grade 12 student at OSDSS. Previous credits include: CJ in Back in Time performed in the Toronto Fringe Festival, Sleeping Beauty in Sleeping Beauty the Panto, Ms. Wormwood in Matilda the Musical Jr, Pinocchio in No Strings Attached and various others. She is very proud of all of the hard work from everyone who is making this show possible! Enjoy the show!

Wesley Robinson – Lucas Beineke
Wesley Robinson is a grade 9 student at OSDSS. His past performances include Mike Teevee in Willy Wonka, Christopher Robin in Winnie the Pooh, and Josh in Back In Time. 
He would like to thank his sister Macy for driving him to rehearsals, Jonathan Strong for something, and himself (The alpha/G.O.A.T) for being awesome.

Andrew Shepherd – Lurch
Andrew was last seen on the stage as Mr. Salt in Willy Wonka and as Mr. Wormwood in Matilda. He is ecstatic to be playing a character that is not a mean father in The Addams Family. Andrew is in grade 12 at Owen Sound District Secondary School.

Violet Shouldice – Ancestor
Violet is so excited to be back on stage! She has done other plays with The Roxy Young Company, such as The Rainbow Fish and Winnie the Pooh, and has enjoyed them so much! “Big thanks to everyone for making this happen!”

Ellie Stephen – Ancestor
Ellie is very excited to be back on the Roxy stage. She has performed in Willy Wonka and Rainbow Fish with The Roxy Young Company. When Ellie is not on stage, she is either playing hockey with the Ice Hawks or hanging out with her family and friends. She wants to give a big thank you to Grace and Lacey for giving her this opportunity and to her parents and sisters for encouraging her love of theatre.

Bree Strickland – Mal Beineke
Bree is extremely happy to be a part of the incredible Addams Family cast. Bree is an 11th grade student at St. Mary’s High School. She has been acting for over 12 years working with RYC, Sandcastle and Act Out Theatre Company in Kitchener. Favourite show credits include Willy Wonka and Winnie the Pooh. Bree would like to thank the entire RYC for giving this cast this opportunity, Grace for being an amazing director, the cast for their hard work, and her parents for being her biggest supporters.

Jonathan Strong – Fester Addams
Jonathan is a grade 9 student at OSDSS. He has performed in Willy Wonka with The Roxy Young Company as an oompa loompa. In his free time he enjoys playing video games and so on. He would like to thank his friends (Wesley not included), parents, and of course the Top G, for their support. He also thanks Macy for letting him drink her gasoline.

Amelia Sutter – Morticia Addams
The Addams Family is Aeil’s fourth RYC production. She appeared as Horton the Elephant in Seussical, Ms. Honey in Matilda Jr and Grandpa Joe in Willy Wonka. She is in grade 11 at St. Marys High School and is a big fan of their drama program. She also takes vocal lessons with Grace McRae. She would like to thank Grace and Lacey for their support and hopes to be involved in more productions at the Roxy!

Elly Turner – Ancestor
Elly is very excited to be in The Addams Family. She’s a 6th grader with lots of musical experience at the Roxy, playing roles like Brooke in Matilda, a cat in Seussical, Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka, and a narrator in both Winnie the Pooh and Rainbow Fish. She thanks Grace for improving her vocals at singing lessons. She adores her castmates and enjoys seeing them every week.

Ainsley Vail – Ancestor
Ainsley is excited to take to the Roxy stage again this year following her debut role in Willy Wonka in 2023. She is a Grade 8 student at Eastridge and loves singing, songwriting and playing piano. A big thank you to Grace for introducing her to the world of musical theatre! Ainsley also wishes to thank her friends, family, the Roxy cast, and Lacey for continuing to support her dreams of performing on stage.

Olivia Williamson – Wednesday Addams
Olivia, at age 17, is a talented singer and actress who has recently reopened her acting career. She has appeared in several plays, including, Back In Time! playing Amber, and Paper or Plastic? playing Regina, by the OSDSS Drama Club. From the Chelsey Community Players, Olivia performed in Aesop’s Musical Foibles as Lion. She is excited to be back on the Roxy’s stage after a long break and is looking forward to what lies ahead.

Kaiya Witherspoon – Ancestor
Kaiya is a grade 6 student at East Ridge Elementary. She was a candy kid and a squirrel in last year’s Willy Wonka production. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding, drawing and helping around the family farm. She would like to thank her family for their continued support and encouragement. 

CREW

Grace McRae – Director
Grace is so excited to be directing another musical for the RYC. She began working with these wonderful youth a few years ago, and took on the role of Director of the Summer and March Break Camps as well as director of last year’s production – Willy Wonka. She is also a Vocal and Musical Theatre Instructor and has been teaching since 2016. Grace holds a bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre Performance from Sheridan College and has appeared in productions such as Seussical the Musical, Legally Blonde, A Man of No Importance, and Grand Hotel. Grace has been involved with OSLT since childhood and is thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the community who gave so much to her.

Lacey Mooney – Producer
Lacey is so excited to be working on the third Roxy Young Company production after Matilda JR and Willy Wonka JR. Lacey can usually be found on the stage where she has appeared in over 20 OSLT productions including Spamalot, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and most recently Something Rotten! She loves sharing her passion for the theatre through her work as coordinator for The Roxy Young Company and the Roxy Star Company.

Katherine Ruck – Stage Manager
Kat has been a part of the OSLT & RYC with various roles backstage such as lead props (Spelling Bee & Beauty and the Beast), Assistant Stage Manager for RYC’s Willy Wonka and Stage Manager for the first time this year with the One Act Plays. She was on stage for her first production, Something Rotten! back in April. She is excited to be back with the RYC to Stage Manage The Addams Family. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she has with this cast & crew over the past few months.

Valerie Prettie – Assistant Stage Manager
Val has been an active member serving OSLT for more than 25 years. Throughout that time, she has worn many hats around the theatre, from Hair Design, Stage Management, Set Painting and Décor, as well as Bartending and Ushering.

Holly Johnston – Assistant Stage Manager
Holly, a Grade 12 student at Peninsula Shores District School, is deeply passionate about theatre. Some of their favourite plays include The Phantom of the Opera and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. The Addams Family is Holly’s first official Roxy production and they are thrilled to be a part of it.

Carrie Keeling – Wardrobe Lead
Carrie is so happy to be Wardrobe Lead for one of her all-time favorite fictional families, The Addams Family. Her past experience includes both on and off stage as an actor, hair, makeup, ASM and wardrobe. She is happy once again to be part of the Roxy Young Company family!

Joanne Perry – Properties Lead
Recently retired from nursing in many areas of Ontario as well as Calgary AB, Owen Sound has been Joanne’s home since 2015.  She began as an usher for OSLT, worked in wardrobe for Marriage Proposal and props for Something Rotten!. “I am proud to be the Props Lead for the Addams Family and to be working with these incredible young performers”.

Martin Cooper – Set Design and Lead Builder
Martin has previously acted in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, as Boo Radley in To Kill a Mockingbird, Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, and various other roles. He last designed the set for OSLT’s Red Plaid Shirt. A big thank you to his entire set building team and those providing their wise guidance along the way. This set came together as imagined and the team hopes you enjoy the result.

Nicole Gardiner – Makeup Lead
Nicole graduated from Complections College of Makeup Art and Design in 2012 and also graduated from Gina’s College in 2013. She returned to Owen Sound and has had her esthetic business here for 7 years. Although most of her makeup career has been in the bridal industry, she is excited to help with The Addams Family and future Roxy productions.

Michael Johnston – Lighting Design
Michael has been an active member of Owen Sound Little Theatre since 2018 and has acted, and worked as a tech and stagehand. He has also worked as a Director and Stage Manager for Chesley Community Players and Bruce County Playhouse respectively.

Catherine Tilley – Lighting Operator
Catherine, a long time member of OSLT, always enjoys working on a production. She has had a go at just about every job backstage and up in the booth. You last saw her on stage in Please No Flowers, West Moon and Spamalot. She most recently was wardrobe lead for Something Rotten! and now she has the opportunity to light up these incredibly talented young people. Thank you and enjoy your time in our theatre.

Jenna Davenport – Backstage Assistant
Jenna is thrilled to be helping backstage for the first time with the Addams Family. Jenna is in the 9th grade at St. Mary’s High School. In her free time Jenna loves to curl. Jenna wants to thank her parents and Lacey for encouraging her to help out

Anson Prettie – Backstage Assistant
Anson is excited to be part of another Roxy production! After helping with Willy Wonka he knew he needed to be involved in The Addams Family. “Learning about all aspects of theatre is important to me and supporting the actors, and the set is very fulfilling.” Anson is finishing up his second full year of the RYC Act One/Two Program and he looks forward to going every week, making friends and of course, having fun. “Thanks for allowing me to be involved, and a huge BRAVO to everyone for all your hard work putting this awesome production together.”

Miles Robart – Sound Operator
Miles is excited to be returning to the sound booth and the Roxy Young Company. Previously he has done sound for Matilda and Willy Wonka. Miles is grateful for the support from the tech crew, Grace and Lacey.
