In 2016, the Algonquin Ensemble formed to musically interpret and celebrate the work of Tom Thomson with original music and visual projections. It’s comprised of Kathryn Briggs (piano), John Geggie (double bass), Lisa Moody (viola), Laura Nerenberg (violin), Margaret Tobolowska (cello), and Terry Tufts (guitar hybrid).
