Spektrix Ticketing FAQ

We’re excited to announce that we’re upgrading our ticketing experience! Starting October 21st, we’ll be transitioning to Spektrix, a leading box office and theatre ticketing software used worldwide. This new system will replace our current Theatre Manager platform, bringing you a smoother, more user-friendly experience when booking tickets with us.

As part of this process, all ticket sales will be stopped from October 21st through October 23rd so we can move everything over to Spektrix. Our staff will be busy behind the scenes during this time to make the transition as seamless as possible for you, our valued patrons. Ticket sales will resume on Thursday, October 24th. 

Account & Passwords: Your existing accounts will be transferred! Just log in with your current email and set a new password or use Spektrix’s password-free login options.

Security: Your personal information remains safe and secure with Spektrix, which adheres to the latest information security standards.

Ease of Use: Enjoy a more intuitive and streamlined ticket-purchasing process, with new features like downloading tickets at home and communicating accessibility needs directly.

Q: What Is Spektrix?

Spektrix stands out as a top-notch box office and theatre ticketing software utilized globally. It will replace our current Theatre Manager system and will enhance the overall user experience for our patrons.

Q: What changes can I expect to see?

Spektrix’s system is more user-friendly and reliable compared to what patrons were used to with Theatre Manager (our current software). With your Spektrix account, you can enjoy features like downloading and printing tickets at home, directly communicating accessibility needs to the Roxy Box Office, specifying your contact preferences, and much more.

Memberships and Registration for camps, courses and workshops will also be more streamlined and easier to complete online or in person!

Q: What about my account and password?

All Theatre Manager accounts will be migrated to Spektrix. Upon initial login, you will be prompted to create a new password or take advantage of Spektrix’s password-free login choices. Your Spektrix account username will match the email address used in Theatre Manager.

Q: Will my personal information be secure in this transition?

Spektrix acts as a data processor whereas the clients are the data controllers, meaning they will never alter, manipulate, or otherwise interact with your data. Spektrix is certified, using the most recent standards for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system.

Q: Will the new ticketing site be easy to navigate?

Spektrix’s software is notably simpler than our current software. We believe that our patrons will appreciate the streamlined purchasing experience with us.

Q: What will happen to my gift certificates?

All Roxy gift certificates will still be valid! They will be moved to our new software. If you have any trouble using them, please contact our box office. We are always here to help!

Q: When does Spektrix go live on the Roxy’s website?

This new ticketing software will become publicly accessible on October 24th, 2024. In order to facilitate the transition, all ticket sales will be paused from October 21st through October 23rd. Tickets will be unavailable to purchase online or through the Box Office during this time.

Q: What if I have trouble with this new system?

As always, our staff are happy to help. We can be reached by phone at 519-371-2833 or in person at our box office. Our box office hours remain the same: Tuesday through Friday, 10am – 2pm.
